About the owner...

In her mid 20's, Jennifer took a leap of faith and decided to make her dream a reality. Jennifer went to school for law enforcement and graduated in 2012 with her Associates Degree. Jennifer always wanted to work with animals, and most importantly dogs. She had hopes of eventually becoming a K9 officer. Immediately after graduating, she was offered a job at the Franklin County Sheriffs Office as a correctional officer. After four years of service, she resigned and decided that she wanted to make her dreams of working with dogs come true. In 2016 Jennifer started her first business walking dogs and pet sitting. Jennifer has a passion and love for animals of all kinds and enjoys photographing them during her free time. She has volunteered at the Franklin County Regional Dog Kennel and has worked at a veterinary office as well. Jennifer has always been around animals and grew up with three cats and a dog. 6 years ago, she rescued a beautiful and loving soul named Lucy who has been her inspiration. Jennifer continues to educate herself with dog training and animal behavior.

The Basic Instincts Boston Team

Meet Sara

Sara joined Basic Instincts Boston in April of 2018. Sara lives in Saugus and mostly grew up in the area but spent some time in Houston Texas. She previously worked in doggy daycare and is going to school for Veterinary Technician. She has always been around animals and has always held a strong passion for them. Her animal handling skills come naturally. Sara is the proud owner of a rescued dane/pit mix named Nala and a lovely main coon kitty named Shakira. Sara's favorite part about working with animals  is getting to know different animals and their behaviors and watching them grow in a positive way. Being outside is definitely a plus too! Sara's other passions include being outdoors, remote/primitive camping, meditation and painting.
